Sheldon Cartwright is a senior financial services leader with a broad hands-on financial management background accumulated over a two decade career. He is skilled in directing financial operations and managing multi-billion dollar investment portfolios with deep knowledge of hedge funds, private equity, banking and real estate.

Mr. Cartwright currently serves as the General Manager of Onyx Partners Limited and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Caystone Solutions Limited, an operational family office focused on full corporate and fund administration services. Prior to his current roles, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Group Financial Controller of a Bahamas-based registered investment advisory firm with $7.5 billion in assets under management at its peak.

Mr. Cartwright began his career in audit at a Big Four professional services firm. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from Acadia University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Julien Martel has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry and has worked in both Guernsey and The Bahamas where he was the Managing Director of the Bahamas office of a trust and fiduciary business with a global footprint. He led the business while always keeping strong and close relationships with global clients, managing their highly complicated, cross-border planning needs. He has served as a director on a number of banks and trust companies and also spent time working as the Chief Operating Officer of a Multi Family Office.

Mr. Martel, in his consultancy role, assists the business across a multitude of disciplines, including Corporate Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Business Development, Marketing and Client Take-On, as well as general advisory services.

Tulio Berdu joined the Onyx Partners team in 2019 after 13 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry working both in Brazil and The Bahamas across a number of disciplines, including Operations, Compliance, Corporate and Trust. Tulio has experience working with high net work clients and their advisors in both the management of complex assets and the creation of structures to suit their individual and unique needs, a key advantage of Onyx Partners.

Tulio is part of the executive team and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and holds a Bachelors Degree in business Administration from Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo and is also qualified as a Certified Financial Planner and a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).

Sherell Gordon joined the Onyx Partners team in 2021 and has over 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. Sherell has previously worked at well known international banks and trust companies in The Bahamas managing a global client base with a variety of complex assets held in Trusts, Foundations, Private Trust Companies, Will Estates, Institution Pensions and Managed Banks.

Sherell holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Business Management as well as a Diploma in Financial Services from The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services.
